Mr. Earnest Lee Hinton was born March 26, 1951 to the late Earnest Hinton and Lillie Ruth White in Rock Hill, S.C. Mr. Hinton departed this life on January 26, 2023 at Atrium Health Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

Mr. Hinton was a graduate of Second Ward High School in Charlotte, N.C. He retired from Wilora Lake Nursing HOme after twenty years of service and was never late or missed a single day of work. He was preceded in death by his sisters Patricia Parker and Mary Louise Steele. He leaves to cherish his memories; his two sons, Ernest Hinton, Jr., and Leonard Crawford, daughter Amanda Brunner, brother James Hinton, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
