Earnest King McCullough, Sr. was born on June 23, 1950 to the late James McCullough and Lillie B. McCant McCullough. He went to be with the LORD on October 30, 2019 at Presbyterian-Main Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
Life
He attended Logan High School in Concord, NC and Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC and receive a degree in Business. He was employed with Sylvania Lighting Company, Holiday Inn and Crown Plaza Hotels. He was fondly known as "Picture Man". There wasn't a family or church function that he didn't take pictures to preserve the event. He was the photographer for many weddings.
Family
He leaves to cherish a wife of 45 years, Elizabeth A. McCullough, a daughter, Tamara C. McCullough (James), son Earnest K. McCullough Jr. (Esparsel) and 4 grand-children: Datrevious Early, DaLaysha Early, Deysha Gooden and Earnasha McCullough.
Sister: Vinetta Carter, Lois McCullough, Belinda McCullough and Terry McCullough. Brothers: Melvin McCullough, (Carol), Carl McCullough(Gwen) and Michel McCullough., four loving sister-in-laws, a dear friend Clinton Williams and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He joined the United States Army in November 1969 and served through April 1971. He acquired the rank of Sgt.1 st Class. He became a member of The Greater Mt. Moriah P. B. Church in 1980. He was a true soldier in the Army of the Lord. He served as Trustee for many years and member of the Male Chorus of which he enjoyed singing with the group. He was also a member of Help & Aid Club which serves the Homeless. He truly enjoyed talking and praying with the men that came for dinner every 4 th Sunday. He regularly attended The National Primitive Baptist Convention, USA as a photographer until his health started to fail. Even then he continued to attend church regularly. He loved his church and was faithful to his church until the end of his life.
