Eddie A. Felder, 67, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence.

Eddie Felder was born on May 19, 1958, in Lane, South Carolina, to the late Learlene Felder and James Dozier. He grew up surrounded by family and faith, graduating from C.E. Murray High School before continuing his education at Williamsburg Technical Training College. In 1978, Eddie made a new home in Brooklyn, NY, where he began building his career.

Eddie worked with Greyhound Transit System for many years before moving to Charlotte, NC, in 2001. There, he continued his career with OnStar, later joined Wells Fargo Bank, and in 2015 began working with Reynolds Consumer Products, where he remained until his passing.

Eddie was a man of quiet strength and steady faith. He was an avid reader of the Holy Bible, a lover of all kinds of music, and a student of martial arts. Above all, he cherished the simple joy of being with his family. Those who knew him best will remember his loyalty, humility, and the peace he brought into every room.

Eddie was one of seven children and leaves behind a loving family to carry on his memory: his special aunt, Jessie Felder; his uncle, Jimmie Felder; his sisters, Cynthia Woods and Karen Woods; his brothers, Harry Dozier, Kenneth Woods, Gentry Pugh, and Gregory Pugh. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Woods, Kevin Dozier and Jeffrey Douglass. Eddie also leaves behind a host of nephews Denzel Woods, Khalil Capers, Xaiver Woods, Amari Salley, cousins, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Eddie's life was a blessing to all who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire love, faith, and kindness. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
