Edsel G. Laney CHARLOTTE - Mr Edsel G. Laney, 73, of Charlotte passed away on July 1, 2014. A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Reeder Memorial Baptist Church, 3725 Beatties Ford Road. Homegoing service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Reeder Memorial. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Grier Funeral Service, 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte (704) 332-7109 is in charge of arrangements.
