Mr. Edwin Augustus Edwards, 40, of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

Edwin Augustus Edwards "Eddie" passed away on Sunday March 10, 2024, at his place of residence in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born in Baltimore Maryland, Eddie was full of spirit and life.

Affectionately known as, "ELO or Monster" for his larger-than-life personality and kind heart! After attending Garinger High School, Eddie always had a passion to help people and had a strong work ethic. He had aspirations of being a firefighter and found his passion and much joy working in the restaurant industry and being a handyman. He enjoyed cooking, creating new recipes and eating of course! When you needed anything fixed, Eddie was your go to guy. Always wanting to help where he could. Life had its challenges and obstacles for Eddie, however; his gift to the world was genuinely loving people unconditionally, no matter what, everyone needed a friend.

He was preceded in death by his Father Alfredo "Al" Edwards. He leaves behind to hold his precious memories, his mother Wanda Edwards, Sister Nikki Edwards, Brother Alan Edwards, (Charlotte NC) Grandparents Berlin and Julia Torrence (Salisbury, NC). Bonus family Adrienne Stamper (Biological mom) (Baltimore, Maryland), Brother Rickey Easter, Rodney Wright and Sister Alicia, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. The 3 musketeers & best friends: Crystal Webb & family, Larry "Mann" Cunningham and Donavon "Big D" Garland, family, girlfriend Justus Gaither, and love from the JH Gunn community.
