Elizabeth Mobley White, 96, of Charlotte, passed away on December 23, 2024, at Novant Presbyterian Main.

On Monday, December 23, 2024, God called Elizabeth Mobley White, 96, to her heavenly home.  She was born July 7, 1928, to the late Gentle B. and Roberta I. Mobley, in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She was the oldest of six siblings.

Elizabeth gave her life to Christ at an early age joining St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. James F. Wertz.  She was a faithful and devoted disciple for 60 plus years, serving on several ministries including the Food Pantry, Missionary Group and she was a devoted Sunday School Teacher.

She was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and attended and graduated from Second Ward High School in 1946.  She started her career at Reese's Antique Shop; she was employed for 20 plus years until she retired.  After retirement, she joined the staff at St. Paul Child Development Center as an Infant Teacher where she enjoyed working with the babies and toddlers.  In her free time, she enjoyed reading her Bible, planning her Sunday School lessons, traveling with her Missionary Group and preparing Sunday dinners for her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manique White; a daughter, Denise D. White; a son, Harold M. White; and five siblings, three sisters, Mildred Dill, Hattie Murray, Eloise Mungo and two brothers, Jerry Mobley and William Mobley.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish four daughters, Carletha Boulware, Earlene White, Beverly Knox, Sandra Brown and two sons, Jonathon White (Peggie), Keith White (Dorothy) and daughter-in-law, Lisa White, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; 44 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
