Ella Tawhona Williams, 59 of Charlotte, departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Ella Louise Williams, was born September 20, 1962 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

Tawhona was a beloved sister.  She would brighten your day with her smile and her contagious sense of humor.  As a young girl, Tawhona enjoyed playing the piano, participating in sports, and she was a talented artist.  She worked in Banquet Service at the Omni Hotel here in Charlotte, North Carolina during the 80's.  Her memory lives on in the lives that she touched.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: six brothers, Rayford Williams, Italy Williams, Thomas Williams, Terry Morrison (Carla), Rodney Morrison, Adam Morrison (Charlotte); two sisters, Odessia Williams, Tammy Williams (Wallace), all of Charlotte, North Carolina; fifteen nieces; eleven nephews; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
