Mrs. Ellen V. White, 79, of Charlotte NC departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2023, at Atrium Main.

Ellen Valera Moragne was born on October 21, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Hezzie and Ella Moragne.  She passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2024, at Atrium Health Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.,

Ellen was dedicated and baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on September 9, 1971.  She became a regular pioneer on October 1, 1979 and served in this capacity until her death.  She loved serving Jehovah and she loved serving in the full-time ministry.

Ellen was married to Robert C. White, Sr. on January 27, 1973.  She was a loving and kind wife and mother for more than fifty years.  She cared more for others than she did for herself.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Robert C. White, Sr.; three children, Robert, Jackie and Michael; one daughter-in-law, Concetta White; one grandson, Bryce White; seven brothers, Arnold, Kenneth, Preston, Hezzie, Larry, Carl and Titus Moragne; two sisters, Marilyn and Cherry Moragne; five sisters-in-law, Helen Humphrey, Dolores, Fern, Candace and Michelle; one brother-in-law, Leverne White; nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; cousins, and many, many precious relatives and friends.
