Ellis William Davis "Whirlpool" CHARLOTTE - Mr. Ellis William "Whirlpool" Davis, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2014, at CMC University. Homegoing Service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Grier Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1:00pm. Service will begin at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Grier Funeral Service of 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte (704)332-7109 is in charge.
