Mrs. Evelyn Thomas, 83 of Concord, formerly of Marianna, AR, passed away on October 4, 2017 at her residence.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at New Zion Baptist Church, 217 W. Todd Lane, Charlotte.  Visitation will begin at 12 noon until 1:00 p.m.  Interment will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Garden.
Survivors are son, Darnell Thomas of Detroit, MI; daughters, Diann Warren Harris (Dwain) of Concord and Shirley Warren Nelson (Anthony) of Charlotte and 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
