Mr. Felix Byrd Jr., 89, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Atrium Monroe.

Feliz Byrd, Jr. was born on October 14, 1933, to the late Felix Byrd, Sr. and Ola Garrett.  Felix gained his wings on March 3, 2023.

Family was everything to him.  There is nothing he would not do for his family.  He loved watching old western movies, anything dealing with cars, and he always found some sort of project to work on.  Felix was a jack-of-all-trades.

Felix was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Byrd, Sr.; son, Felix Byrd, III; daughter, Joyce Byrd; and two great-nephews, Kevin (Shawn) Byrd and D'Antonio Hamilton.

Felix leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Seretha Byrd; two daughters, Fredia Bishop (Tommy), Anita Ramos; two sons, Ricardo A. Black, Marcus Bates; stepkids, Matthew L. Williams, Tynice Parks; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Byrd, JoAnn Bailey, Phyllis Fleming, Naomi Barber; niece, Darlene Flowe; a great-nephew, Jarmaca Byrd; great-nieces, Sonya Byrd, Tonya Byrd, Keelah Phifer, Desireé Ramos; great-great-nephews, DaQuan, KeSaun, Jaylen, Jayce, Jackson; great-great-nieces, JaNayai, Kaélen, Brailey; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
