Florence Paul, 84, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at CMC Main.

Mrs. Florence Paul was the daughter of the late Eucephus F. Young, Sr. and Hilda Ward.  She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 3, 1940.  She was called home to glory on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Florence was educated in New York and Charlotte.  She was employed at Duke Energy.  Some of her hobbies and talents were spreading the Word of God, fishing, cooking, attic sales and traveling.

Florence was preceded in death by her father, Eucephus Young and mother, Hilda Ward; her oldest brother, Eucephus Young, Jr.; her youngest brother, Tommy Young; and her sons, Ernest Young and Robin Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband of 58 years, James Paul, Sr.; one brother, Harry Young of North Carolina; three sons, Roderick Brown (Shana), Todd Brown (Barbara), James Paul, Jr. (Stacie), all residents of North Carolina; daughters, Hilda Monley of Greenville, SC, Sylvia Suah, Evangeline Ligon, Ollie Hunter, residents of North Carolina; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
