Frances Lee Funderburk, 64 of Charlotte, quietly departed this life to her eternal home on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on June 10, 1957 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Dolphus and Ruth B. Funderburk.

Frances Funderburk received her formal education at Harding Senior High School.  She became a member of the Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church where she faithfully served for 28 years.  She was employed at Moss Supply Company for 22 years.

Frances was preceded in death by her sister, Georgia Washington; brother, Robert Blackmon; and granddaughter, Quaneka Funderburk.

Left to cherish precious memories are her loving daughters, Lakisha Funderburk, Tomeko Funderburk and Renee Funderburke; grandchildren, Jahseen Funderburk, Damien Funderburk, Jamal Durand, Tionna Durand, Natajah Funderburk-Buie, Najayla Buie, Myeshia Funderburk, Quandarius Funderburk, Jaquavius Funderburk, De'Kaylen Funderburk, Nalik Funderburk, Jasmine Martin, Lyana Neal; great-grandchildren, Johan Wilson, Jah'yah Miller, Zion Funderburk, Christopher Shipley, Jr., A'miya Shipley, A'zia Shipley; six sisters, Alberta Kirkpatrick (James), Ruby Harris, Peggy Funderburk, Ruth Mae Funderburk, Mary L. Clyburn and Joeann Boyce; one brother, Johnny Blackmon (Merveline); and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
