Fred Ardrey, III, "Pee" passed away peacefully at Atrium Hospital on Tuesday, February 13., 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 10, 1958, in Charlotte, NC, at Good Samaritan Hospital to Fred Ardrey, J., and the late Ethelrine Mungo Ardrey.

Fred attended Our Lady of Consolation Catholic school, Charlotte Catholic High School, and graduated from Independence High School in 1977. He attended Rust College in Holly Springs, Mississippi, and worked for over thirty-three years at Mercy Hospital, retiring in 2017.

Fred was known for being quiet and shy (Ha, Ha). He loved the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Rams, and Ohio State. "Pee" was a true sports fan. I his spare time, he played and taught tennis.

Fred was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church all his life until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and his lovely mothers.

He is survived by his father, Fred Ardrey, Jr.; his sister Katherine (Buddy); daughter, Latoya Jane (the love of his life); one uncle, Herman Ardrey,; and his dog "Cookie". He leaves to mourn, a host of cousins, family members, and friends.
