George Lee Davis (Jake Mo), 62 of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Atrium Health-Mercy. He was born April 25, 1958 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late George Davis, Jr. (Buck) and Mary Lucille Davis (Lucy).  In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by brothers, Eric Dewayne Davis (Smooth), Dale Allen Davis (Fatman) and nephew, Travis Dewayne Davis.

George departed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He graduated from South Mecklenburg High School.  George worked at Reid Supermarket, Universal Adhesive, and Site Work Construction until his health failed.  He loved to fish, cook, and paint.  Jake Mo was known for singing, telling jokes and saying you owe him money.

Those left to cherish his memory was his life friend of 44 years, Betty Watt; two brothers, Larry Duncan of Louisville, KY and Michael Dunlin; four sisters, Audrey Davis, Connie Williams (Sam), Gwendolyn Davis and Carolyn Davis, all of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
