George Monteith was born on December 29, 1944, to the late Jimmie Lee Monteith and Armette Henderson.

George was a mechanic by trade and loved working on cars. He was also a musician as well. He loved Science, technology, and playing the lottery but he really enjoyed fishing, watching cowboy movies as well as the animal channel.

George's parents was preceded in death by his parents; Jimmie Lee Monteith and Armette Henderson as well as his brother Leon Monteith.

George enjoyed life to the fullest and he will truly will be missed.

He leaves to cherish precious memories his only daughter Sharon McCluney, his grandchildren, Devontae McCluney, Artea Wright, and Donovan McCluney, his great grandson Mayzion Travail Lee McCluney, brothers, Robert Monteith, Jean Monteith, sisters Varina Monteith, and Johnson McCall, sisters-in law, Evelyn, Bug, and Ruby Monteith, and a host of relatives and friends.

His spirit will remain in our hearts and souls.
