Hannah Clinton, 82, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at her residence in Charlotte, NC.

Hannah Magalene "Maggie" Clinton, daughter of Laura Lila Leach Clinton and Mose Fewell, was born on March 18, 1943, in Dallas, North Carolina.

Her dedication to the church began at the age of 10 and she remained an active member of the spiritual community throughout her lifetime.  She served in various positions, such as the Vice-President of the Young Adult Missionary, and as a member of the Gospel Chorus Pastor Anniversary Committee.  She has been a faithful member of Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church since 2021, and she loved her church family who welcomed her with open arms.

Hannah was also a fierce advocate for the Todd Park Community, serving on the Adam 3 Advisory Council to bring much needed improvements to her community.

She had a wide network of people who loved her, and she loved to spend hours catching up and trading stories.  Her love of flowers and plants was evident in the care she put into her garden and she could always be found outside in her yard when she was able.  A proficient cook, her greens were the stuff of legend!

She is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn Walton; her son-in-law, Charles Walton; her two granddaughters, Randal and Brianna Walton; her goddaughter, Paulette Nesbit, and a host of beloved friends.
