Mrs. Helen Tinsley, 94 of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Atrium Pineville.

Helen Tinsley was born in Laurens, South Carolina on January 12, 1929 to the proud parents, Jessie and Della Lindsey.  Helen married Charles Tinsley and they moved to Charlotte where they had six children, Charles E. Tinsley (Mellen D.), Della Massey (William), Ronald (Sarah), Raymond (Pamela), David (LaJuan), and Christopher Tinsley, who preceded her in death.

Helen worked for over 20 years for Pharr Yarns in McAdenville, NC, until she retired.  Helen raised her family in the Charlotte area where she resided until her death.  She passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

She leaves behind her children and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
