Mr. Henry Leroy Hill, the son of Nora P. (Crump) Hill and Henry Arthur Hill was born on March 24, 1960 in Buffalo, New York. He was the youngest child and the only son. Henry accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age of twelve. His father Henry Arthur Hill, his sister, Phyllis A. White, and brothers Tony, Carl, and Ronnie Hackney preceded him in death.

He attended Buffalo Public Schools and graduated from East High School in Buffalo, NY. Henry was a longtime truck driver and called his truck driving friends (Driver). He really enjoyed working for Phoenix Trucking. Leroy enjoyed cooking, traveling, and shopping. Even though he moved to Charlotte, NC in 2002 with his family his favorite football team continued to be the Buffalo Bills. Leroy loved a good conversation and in those conversations you either laughed, or you shook your head. To know him was to love him in those conversations. His favorite TV show was any kind of CSI show. He was a dependable friend and most of all a loving DAD. It wasn't anything he wouldn't do for his children. His children stood by him the same loving way.

Henry leaves to mourn in his passing three sons, Henry, Jr., Leland, and Tyrone Hill, and two daughters. Jada J and Jerricka Y. Hill, four step-sons Adrian McBride (Buffalo, NY), Ronarldo, Rodarius, and Orlando, and two step-daughters, Aviance Levy and Talia Mosley, of North Carolina, mother Nora Hill of Buffalo, NY; and Mary Faye (Joseph) Buffalo, N.Y. He leaves twelve grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and friends.
