Herman Lee Clarence Beaufort, 62 of Charlotte, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1957 to the late Ethel and Marion Beaufort, II in Andrew, South Carolina.
Herman was united in marriage to Brenda Beaufort in 1980. From this union, one set of triplet sons was born.
Beaufort, as he was affectionately called, confessed Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He moved to Cleveland, Ohio and joined Second Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized in October of 1991. He served there faithfully as a member of the deacon board.
Beaufort graduated from Williamsburg County Public Schools. He then enlisted into the United States Army and served 10 years. After leaving the military, he began his career in transportation as a bus operator with the Regional Transit Authority in Cleveland, OH and later with the Charlotte Area Transit System in Charlotte, NC.
Beaufort's many interests included serving God, fishing, hunting and playing Bid Whist with family and friends. His favorite song was "Heavy Load" by the Mighty Clouds of Joy.
In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by one sister, Dianne Beaufort Session and one brother, Marion Beaufort, III.
Beaufort leaves to morn and cherish his loving memories his devoted wife, Brenda Beaufort; sons, Marcus, Mark and Michael Beaufort; sisters, Sandra McCray and Judy Warren; brothers, Therman Beaufort and Ernest Beaufort (Willette Hazel); seven grandchildren; one brother-in-law and five sisters-in-law, six aunts, two uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loving friends, Mack and Trip!
