Ilana Grace Anderson, 31 of Charlotte, NC passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Atrium Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on December 28, 1989. She was the daughter of Denise Anderson and Minister David Anderson.

Ilana worked in New Jersey as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She relocated to Charlotte, NC to manage an ice cream establishment. She also worked at a host of other jobs.

Ilana dearly loved her family, her bestie Evan and her New Jersey girl friends. She was a huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She loved everything Rihanna and purchased every one of her perfumes. Ilana loved to eat her seafood "blue crab". Ilana was known for her stylish fashion and her many personalities with her hair styles. She loved her side kick - her poodle "Remi".

Her favorite thing to say..."Ma, you cooking?" Yes! What do you want?

While in Charlotte, she underwent a medical procedure - a gastric bypass - to reduce her weight. Over the years, this caused a multitude of health and organ issues, which led to her failing health and her untimely passing. It was too much. No more pain...

She was predeceased by her grandparents, James and Geraldine Anderson.

Left to cherish Ilana's memory are her mother, Denise Anderson of Charlotte; father, Minister David Anderson (Aida) of Montclair, NJ; siblings, Nikiya, David Jr. (Kasey), Raquel and Louis; grandparents, Floyd Johnson of North Augusta, SC and Janice Johnson of Paterson, NJ; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and devoted friends.
