Ms. Inez Williams Gibson, 76 of Charlotte, passed away on Monday March 9, 2020.  She was the daughter of the late Stella Mae Williams and the late Clarence Hill.  She was reared in the Charlotte Greenville Community.  Fairview Elementatry, Northwest Junior High and West Charlotte High Schools were the area schools in which Mrs. Gibson was educated.

During her early childhood, she attended religious services at Rockwell A.M.E. Zion Church and The United House of Prayer for All People.  Later in life, she became a member of Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved her church and worked and attended diligently until her illness.

Mrs. Gibson was employed at Cannon Mills as a production laborer.  She later was employed as a household technician for Ms. Lynn Murray and the King family.  She was a home care aid also.

Mrs. Gibson was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Fred Gibson who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Williams, Robert Williams and Fred Williams.  She leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Betty Houston-Greene, Emma Fielder; brothers, Harold Williams, Donald Williams (Cynthia); stepson, Fred Gibson; aunt, Gwendolyn Williams; a host of other relatives and friends.
