Mr. Ira Lee Flood, 88 of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at his residence.  Mr. Flood and his twin sister, Ida Mae, were born in Mecklenburg County on July 12, 1932, to their parents, the late Grover Lee Flood, Sr. and Sarah Mitchell Flood.

Mr. Flood wad educated at Pineville High School (later known as Sterling High School).  He worked at Chapman Harkey Company on South Boulevard for many years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Flood was preceded in death by his twin sister, Ida Mae Flood and two brothers, Lewis Flood and Grover Flood, Jr.

He is survived by one sister, Marjorie Flood Bevel of New York and one brother, Bobby Flood (Juanita) of Charlotte, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
