Isaac Clarence McCain, 55 of Charlotte, NC departed this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House - Huntersville. He was born October 10, 1965 in Union County, NC. He was the son of Dorothy H. McCain and the late Isaac C. Ivey.

He was preceded in death by one son, Steven McCain; one brother, Roger McCain; sister, Vera McCain; two nephews, Aquarius McCain, TyShawn Buckner; two nieces, LaTonya Stovall and JaQuaiza Clark.

Isaac was a member of Marvin A.M.E. Zion Church of Waxhaw, NC. He attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and graduated from Myers Park High School in 1983. During the years before his accident in 1990, he worked for Kelly's Printing Service and Winn-Dixie Warehouse.

Isaac is survived by his mother, Dorothy H. McCain of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Larissa Harrison of Los Angeles, CA; seven sisters, Darnell McCain, Jean McCain, Helen McCain and Coretta McCain, all of Charlotte, NC, Emma Lomax, Joyce Ivey and Shani Coffey, all of Richmond, VA; five brothers, James McCain, Lewis McCain and William McCain, all of Charlotte, NC, Lee Ivey and Marvin Ivey, both of Richmond, VA; aunt, Minnie Lee Lowery; uncle, Arthur Stitt; sister-in-law, Arzella McCain; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
