Mr. Isiah Harrison Jr. 79 of Charlotte, departed this life on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on August 28, 1941 in Knoxville, TN the son of Isiah Harrison Sr. and Sarah Lenoir Harrison.

"Ike" was a graduate of Second Ward High School in Charlotte, NC.  He was employed with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department for over 20 years.  During his time as a police officer he worked in the capacity as a patrolman for Charlie 3 District, a school crossing guard, and a school resource officer.  He took several classes and received certifications in regards to his work as a law enforcement official.  He later worked as a professional bus/van driver.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby H. Campbell and Yvonne H. Burton (Williams); his brother, Sylvester Harrison (Elisabeth); and his niece Lindy Harrison.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children; son, Isiah Harrison III; daughters, Teresa Webb (Allen) and Doretha Harrison; son, Michael Jackson (Dinessa); siblings, Mary Soublet, Lillie (Carl), Jacqueline Liggett; a special friend and companion, Rev. Dr. Jeanette J. Foster; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
