In loving Memory

Ivory Phillip Patterson gained his wings on Thursday May 19, 2022 at home with family. Mr. Patterson was born May 9, 1961 to the union of Ernest Sr. and Mrs. Irma Patterson. Ivory attended The Rayen High School, before entering into the U.S. Army. He served his Country for four years before returning home to Youngstown, OH  and  years later, marrying his wife Lisa Patterson. Ivory  loved watching and attending Pittsburgh Steeler games, cooking, and fishing. He was a laborer and held various roles  throughout his 20 year career, before retiring in 2015. Ivory and his wife Lisa later  moved to Charlotte, NC to be closer to their children. Ivory leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Valencia(Pierre) Davis, sons Orson Penny, and Isaiah( Catherine)Anderson all of Charlotte, NC. Three grandchildren Kearah Penny of Columbus,OH Harper Davis and Lennox Anderson of Charlotte, NC. His siblings, Jerome Williams of Columbus, OH, Cheryl Forman, of Pell City,Alabama, Wanda Patterson of Kentucky, James Robinson of Chicago, Patrick Patterson, of Georgia, Glenda Robinson,Robert Robinson, Roberta Robinson, and Joycy Robinson all of Youngstown, OH and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Ivory was preceded in death by is parents Ernest Patterson Sr. and Mrs. Irma Patterson. Siblings Ernest "Rip"Patterson jr., Constance Patterson,and Azalee Robinson.

Ivory was a gentle giant, full of love for his family and friends. He was a person of his word, and would do anything for others. We love, salute, and honor you, job well done! A private memorial service  will be held May 28th in Charlotte, NC.
