Jack Kizer, seventy-four, passed on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. Jack was born on December 4, 1949 to the late Hercules Hazel and Inez Kizer Laney.

Jack was a graduate of West Charlotte High School. He worked in Shipping and Receiving for a local Door Manufacturing Company. He loved his family and dancing was one of the things he really enjoyed. He took pride in his attire; every time he stepped out the house; he matched from his hat all the way down to his shoes, casual or dressy. Jack was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church for many years.

Jack was preceded in death by his father Hercules Hazel; his mother Inez Kizer Laney; brother Jimmy Laney; brother-in-law Ralph Covington, and nephew Michael D. Laney.

He leaves to cherish his memories; five sisters, Gloria Alexander(James), JoAnn Laney, Ernestine Laney, Linda LAney, and Eloise Covington all of Charlotte, NC; one aunt, Ernestine Lizer Stinson of Charlotte, NC; one uncle,James Kizer of Toledo, OH; eleven nieces and nephews, with a host of relatives and friends.
