Jackie Alexander Young peacefully passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at Wilora Lake Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 9, 1953.

He graduated from West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jackie loved drawing as a young child before he became a painter in which he was self-employed until his health began to fail. He was employed with Philly's Italian War, Inc. His hobbies included reading, martial arts, and watching movies.

Jackie was preceded in death by his father, Kelly Fred Young.

Left to cherish precious are his mother, Wilma R. Young; two brothers, Patrick B. Young (Jill), and Christopher Young; as well as aunts, Ruth Sanchez, Ruby Satterwhite, Hildred Roach; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
