Mrs. Jacqueline W. Davis, "Jackie" 63 of Charlotte, loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, passed on to eternal rest by natural causes at her home on Monday, March 28, 2022.

Jackie's beautiful soul was created on October 5, 1958, to Inez Woods and the late Bill Avery, in Charlotte, NC.  She attended public schools in Mecklenburg County, graduating from West Mecklenburg High School.  She worked for Radiator Specialty for five years, then worked for Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home until her health started to decline.

Jackie was a very caring person who never met a stranger.  Being in the company of family and friends brought her an abundance of love and joy.  Her smile would light up the room; her personality shined even brighter.  Jackie was loyal, and would be by your side through the good and bad.  She was a free spirit who loved good times, good food, and she loved to dance.  She loved her niece, Renee Woods Guy; her great-nephews and great-niece, as if they were her own.

Jackie is survived by her mother, Inez Woods; aunt, Evelyn Daniels; niece, Renee Woods-Guy (Demico Guy).  She also leaves behind a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her baby sister, Lynn Woods-Perin.

When you think of Jackie, celebrate the good memories you have of her.  Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
