Mr. James Moore Sr., 78 of Charlotte, passed away on Monday August 31, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital, Greensboro, NC.  James was born on May 16, 1942 in Fort Lawn, SC to the late Lonnie Hicklin and the late Jessie Mae Moore Heath.

As an adult, James moved to New York and later moved to Charlotte, NC where he joined Simpson-Gillespie United Methodist Church. He remained a faithful member there for many years. He retired from CMC – Atrium.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, James Moore Jr.(Barbara), William Moore (Chenille), sisters  Gwendolyn D. Heath, Deborah H. Watkins (Sam), Tara Dunkin, brothers  William O. Heath, Eric E. Heath, Alford Hicklin, Barnard Hicklin, grandchildren Dontavius Moore, Brittany Moore, Jasmine Moore, LaTasha Harris, William Moore Jr., Toryahtzee Roberts, TyWillazia Moore, Tany'zha Moore, and a host of other relatives and friends.
