Mr. James Oliver Shines, 71, of Charlotte, passed away on September 9, 2016 at Peak Resources, Gastonia. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Grier Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the National Cemetery, Salisbury.
