Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Thomas 78 of Charlotte, passed on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her residence. Homegoing service will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 12 noon at Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church. Mrs. Thomas graduated from Second High School and retired from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System as a Social Worker after 30 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed playing for Homegoing Servics at Grier Funeral Service. She was a very active member of Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church and served in many capacities. Surviving to cherish her memories are: her daughter, Michelle Felicia Thomas of Charlotte; a stepdaughter, Patricia Curry Thomas (Wesley); grandson, Jason Curry, of New York; two special sisters-in-law, Mary H. Clawson and Margaret (Roger) McCullough of Charlotte.
