Ms. Janice Heather Mosely, 47 of Charlotte, transitioned this life for Heaven on Friday March 20, 2020 at Novant Health-Presbyterian.  She was the daughter of the late Joe Heath Redfearn, Sr. and Henrietta Redfearn, was born on September 10, 1972 in New York.

Janice spent her formative years in Westbury, New York and graduated from Westbury Senior High School.  She was a very active student in school which included being a track star and a cheerleader.  She later continued her education at Nassau Community College in New York.

Janice committed her life early to Jesus Christ and was save and baptized.  She attended Amityville Church of God and later Westbury Divine Congregational Church of God in New York, participating in the Sunday School, youth fellowship, youth choir and as a junior usher.  As an adult, she moved to North Carolina in which she attended several churches.  Janice and her family became members and attended Kingdom Christian Church.

Janice was joined in Holy Matrimony to Neal W. Mosley on October 31, 1997.  This loving union was blessed with five children.  She will be remembered as as dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a property manager for several local apartments complexes in Charlotte for over seventeen years.

She enjoyed singing and wouldn't pass up a karaoke opportunity.  Some of her hobbies included reading, puzzles, crafts and DIY projects.  Janice loved life and would share this joy with her hearty laugh and smile.

Janice leaves to cherish her memories by her devoted and loving husband, Neal; four sons, Xavier, Marcus, Carter and Jeremiah and one sweet daughter, Amira Ruby; one grandson, Marcus Jr. and his mother, Daysha Roseboro of Charlotte, NC.  She also leaves two brothers, Joe H. Redfearn, Jr. (Delissa) of South Carolina and Stanley Redfearn (Gita) of New York; two sisters, Donna Redfearn Ponton (Wilson) and Dionne Redfearn Donaldson (Charles) of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins as well as other relatives and dear friends.
