Mr. Jean Claude Belizaire, 57 of Charlotte, a father and a husband, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Atrium Health-Main. Jean-Claude was born July 10, 1963 in Petion-Ville, Haiti.  He was well known and respected throughout his lifetime.

Jean could always accomplish anything he set his mind to.  He had a very charismatic and charming personality that was almost impossible to say no to.  Jean was also a minister of God who followed the Word as best as he could.

Even though he was battling kidney disease along with a few comorbidities, he kept his youth and vigor.  He enjoyed putting smile on others' faces.  Even as he faced his own struggles, he remained the joy in the room.  He had a passion for music, travel and business.  Despite his struggles with his health, he did not let it deter him.  He was a fighter to the very end.

We pray that he is no longer suffering and that he has found peace and joy in his new resting place.  He will forever be missed in the hearts of his loved ones.  Heaven gained and angel.  May he rest in forever joy, peace and love.

Jean-Claude is survived by his children, Michael, Don, Lakisha, Claudia, Sheika and Quincy; his brothers, Toni and Turene; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
