Jeffrey Boyd Gaither, Jr., 34 of Charlotte, NC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  He was born January 26, 1987 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.  He was the son of Pauletta Young Gaither and the late Jeffrey Boyd Gaither, Sr.

Jeffrey was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System and attended Olympic High School.  He received his high school diploma through Job Corps and Central Piedmont Community College.  At the time of Jeffrey's death, he was employed as a security guard at WSOC-TV. He also enjoyed his career as a promoter for local rap artists.

Jeffrey grew up in First Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Paul Drummond.  As a young person, he was very active at First Mayfield and believed in Jesus Christ as his Savior.

Jeffrey was a joy to be around.  He was very sociable and always had a big smile that would brighten a room when he entered.  He was dearly loved by his family, and he especially loved his niece and nephews.

Left to cherish precious memories are his mother, Paulette Gaither and sister, Jasmine Gaither, both of Charlotte; niece, Nacoria and nephews, Leonard and Marcus; aunt, Charlene Campbell (Michael) and special cousin, Kim Howey, all of Charlotte; uncles, Ernie Lee McDonald, Dennis McDonald and Eric "Bug" McDonald of Sumter, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
