Jervis L Hoover, 45 of Charlotte, where God called one of his angels home on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Atrium Health-Main.

A beloved father, husband and friend, Jervis La'teace Hoover, born July 24, 1975, was one of the greatest to every grace Charlotte, North Carolina.  Better known as "Moochie," "Big Moochie," "Daaaadaay" and many more, Moochie was a known stepper on all sides of town, but west side being the best side.  To know him was an honor.  He was one to always hold his word and never hold his tongue.  He touched the lives of many from family to friends to strangers. Moochie was always down with having a great time.  Knowing that the life of any party is gone is very heart breaking to us all.  His roar will forever ring in the city.

Moochie loved his family, he loved his friends, didn't play about football, and could make a mean mac and cheese.  He loved talking his mess, too.

Those who preceded him in death include Wanda F. Hoover, Herbert Hoover, Arthur Lee Hoover, Antwan Hoover and Louilyn H. Morris.  He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends.

To Big Mooch, you will be missed and you are truly at rest.  It's never goodbye; it's I'll see you later.
