On Monday, March 18, 2019, Jesse Lewis Holden, affectionately known as "DUKE" departed this earth to his heavenly home.  His life here on earth ended a new life with God began, and his suffering was no more.  He is now were there is eternal peace, happiness and no more sorrow.

"Duke", "Daddy Duke", or "Uncle Duke", as he was so affectionately called by family and friends was born to Brenda Holden on December 23, 1971.  He was born and raised in Greenville, NC., where he attended J.H. Rose High School.  Later in life he came to know Charlotte, NC as his home for more than 20 years.  It was here in Charlotte where he met his devoted wife Zsa Zsa Moss.

Duke worked for over 20 years as a metal fabricator as he quietly took rest from his last employer; Action Mechanical.  Duke relished spending time with family and making them laugh.  He was a very giving soul and enjoyed working in the yard to relax.

Loved ones left to cherish his precious memories until they meet again are his wife, Zsa Zsa Holden; his three sons-Shan, Terrio, and Xavier (Jalisa); his mother, Brenda Holden; his brother, Bernard (Tina); his grandchildren, Daejaun and Simone; his nephew, Hunter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.
