Jimmy Lee Livingston, the son of the late Mabel Burgess Livingston was born in Williamsburg, South Carolina on July 24, 1953. He departed this life on Sunday, September 11, 2022 after a long fought battle with illness.

Jimmy attended the Mecklenburg County public school system and was a graduate of the Class of 1972.

He was employed at Independence Nissan for 8 years. Afterwards, he was a manger at Gardner Gulf, where he served many in his on community for years that followed. He was a member of the Carolina Men's Club.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son. Jimmy was always a person we could call upon and will be remembered for his loving words and encouragement. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by two sisters, Audrey Sloan and Amelia Snowten; three brothers, Clarence Richard Livingston, Jeffery Junior Pendergrass, and John Andrew Livingston.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his soulmate, Vivian Jones, of the home; two loving sons, Chad Jones (Jamala, fiance) of Charlotte, NC and Brandon (Syreeta) Jones, of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Evangelist Betty Ruffin and Betty Jean Livingston, both of Fort Mill, SC, and Gloria Huntley of Charlotte, NC; brother, Joe Samuel Livingston, of Charlotte, NC; two sisters-in-law, Geneva Livingston, of Monroe, NC and Kate Davis, of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and sympathizing friends.
