Mr. Joe Walter Grier, 78 of Charlotte, entered into eternal rest on June 24, 2021 at Saturn Nursing Home.  He was born on February 3, 1943 in Charlotte, NC to the late Walter D. Grier & Flossie Miller Grier.

Joe attended Plato Price High School.  He joined the Army and served in Vietnam War where he was awarded many medals of Honor.  Then later was employed at Radiator Specialty where he retired after many years of service.

Mr. Joe Walter Grier was proceeded in death by his wife, Judy H. Grier.

Joe leaves to cherish his memories, lessons and love to his children; Joseph Grier (Towanda) and Alexandria Young, one aunt, Barbara Jones (Otto); great aunt, Ida Wiley; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  A host of family and friends.
