Celebrating the Life and Legacy of
John "Redd Foxx" Jackson

John "Red Foxx" Jackson was born August 13, 1932 in Charlotte, North Carolina. On October 12, 2020, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ chose to call John to his heavenly home.

John was married to the late Dorothy Harrison who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosa Jackson Cantey and daughter, Wendy Brooks.

John was a very effervescent personality who never met a stranger. He worked for Associated Groceries, Bojangles Area and retired from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. He absolutely loved the Lord, his family, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and sports…in fact he was what you would call a SUPER FAN!

As John now rests in the bosom of His Lord and Savior, he leaves to cherish fond memories: daughters, Gail House, Kim Jant and Hope Cabrera; brothers, Jim Jackson and George Jackson, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves his friend and companion, Olivia Johnson.
