Elder John Franklin Jones, Sr., 69 of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Novant Presbyterian Main.  He was born January 16, 1953, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Montist Jones Sr. and Annie Lee Jones.

Elder Jones was proceeded in death by three brothers Eugene Roberson, Donnie Jones, and Walter Lewis Jones.  Two daughters Laura and Delores Talford.

Elder Jones leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted, caring, and loving wife of 44 years, Mary H. Jones (Charlotte, NC).  Their four children Andrew T. Jones of Charlotte, NC, John F. Jones Jr. (Monica) of Union, SC, Jerri Jones of Union, SC, and Mark Jones (Keira) of Charlotte, NC.  He was blessed to have eleven grandsons and nine granddaughters.  He was also soon to be great granddad of a Baby K Jones due January 2023.  Four brothers Herman Jones (Emma) of Rock Hill, SC, Montist Jones Jr., Dwight Jones (Chettie), and Dennis Jones all of Charlotte, NC.  He has a host of other relatives including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that will truly miss his presence.
