On Sunday, November 7, 2021, the Holy Father in all his grace and wisdom said to his son Johnny Lee Felder, "you have won the race; the victory is yours to enjoy." Then the Lord sent an angel to bring his child home.

Johnny was born November 24, 1948, in Lane, South Carolina to his late parents Rufus and Lucille Felder. He was educated in the Williamsburg County School system. Shortly thereafter, Johnny moved to Brooklyn, New York where he spent most of his life there and was deeply loved by so many in the neighborhood.

In 2007, Johnny relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina and was an active member of Cokesbury Adult Center where he made several friends over the years. While attending Cokesbury, he enjoyed participating during their annual holiday events and the performing arts outings.

Johnny had many interests in his life. He enjoyed his favorite genre of Western movies and television shows. He had a great love for music, and he was known for traveling with his radio listening to his "old-school" tunes. He had a great passion for his timepieces. He adored his watch and baseball hat collections.

Johnny was one of nine children and is survived by his siblings; dear sister Jessie Felder who was his caregiver for over 14 years, his fraternal twin brother Jimmy Felder, his brother James Felder. Johnny leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends whom he loved dearly. Johnny will be truly missed.
