Joseph was a good old down home country boy from Pineville, N.C. You can find him and his devoted and loving wife Luvinia at a classic car show. You can find Joseph and Ruby watching sports; his favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Joseph passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of sixty- three after a lengthy battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born on December 15, 1959 to the late John & Alice Dunlap.

Joseph leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his wife; Luvinia Dunlap and six children; Javaris Dunlap, Shamika Weathers of Rock Hill, S.C., Toria Dunlap, Jerron Dunlap, Laquita R. Feaster-Davis (Cad), Rakeem Feaster. He is blessed with fourteen grandchildren and one beautiful great grandchild. His loving siblings are Mary Roseboro, Shirley Roseboro (Deceased), Calvin Dunlap (Deceased), Verna Stinson, Johnnie Belk (Deceased), Thomas Dunlap (Betty)  Jerry Dunlap (Vivian), Mary Dunlap (Willie), Doris Smith (Frederick), Kenneth Dunkin,  Joyce Cooper (Don).
