Joseph (Joe) McMullen, Jr., eldest son of the late Polly Louise Boyd McMullen and the late Joe McMullen, graduated from West Charlotte high school in 1961. He was well known as a talented and professional bass guitar player since 1959 and received formal training at the Oscar Peterson (and Ray Brown) school of music - formally the Royal Conservatory school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Joe's love of music afford him the opportunity to travel with several artist. He leaves several family members and friends to remember his love of jazz music and the time spent together.
