Joshua Bennett Fleming, 22 of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.  He was born on February 18, 1998 in Charlotte, North Carolina.  He was born the middle child in the union of James Fleming and Tasha Minger.  His book end siblings were Ja'Shayla and Jeremiah Fleming.

Joshua attended schools in Mecklenburg County.  He graduated from Rocky River High School in June of 2016.  He took pride in the fact that he played football in high school.  He was not exceptionally good.  However, he played with the heart of a true athlete.

He wasn't quick to warm up to people he didn't know.  Although not an attention seeker, he didn't have a problem garnering unsolicited, attention with his boyish smile.

In the four years he had to experience some semblance of adulthood after graduations, he had a lot of life experiences in a short period of time.  One of the greatest unexpected joys of his life was the birth of his daughter, Justice.  She renewed his purpose and gave him focus.

Immaturity was broad sided by fatherhood.  He loved being a father and took his role seriously.

Joshua was not one to complain.  He believed in trying to make a way out of no way; or just simply making a way better.

Joshua was preceded in death by his uncle Jeffery Fleming and his grandmother Daisy Minger.
