Juanita Klutz Barringer, 86 of Charlotte, NC entered eternal life on Monday, September 6, 2021 while at Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, North Carolina. She was born July 4, 1935 to the late Warren and Angeline Klutz.
She was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg and Cabarrus County School Systems. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, dearly loved by her family and friends.
For many years, she attended the United House of Prayer for All People where she worked on the Usher Board, cooked in the church kitchen, and worked with the Food Bank. She was a faithful member until her health declined.
Juanita, affectionately called "Pig" by family and friends, enjoyed shopping, getting her nails and hair done, and she loved diamonds and pearls.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of more than 60 years, Phillip Barringer; son, Gary Klutz; granddaughter, Terri Barringer; brother, Glenn Barringer; sister, Mary Klutz; and dear friend, Hattie Gray.
Left to cherish precious memories are her children, Johnny Barringer and Stephanie Cureton (Michael), both of Charlotte, NC, Terry Barringer (Barbara) of New Port News, VA, Rita Graham and Twanda Suggs (Will), both of Kannapolis, NC; siblings, Gracie Caldwell (Levon), Leonard Barringer, Maxine Barringer, all of Charlotte, Francis Klutz and Ada Hardin, both of Kannapolis, NC; grandchildren, Anthony Caldwell, Shameka Carr, Nakeshia Barringer, all of Charlotte, NC, Lakeia Pickens, Ebony Butler (Charles), and John Graham (Kenyetta), Juanita Jimenez, all of Kannapolis, NC, and Anthony Barringer of North Carolina; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, Samia Wilson and Asaiah Rhone; dear friends, Wileen Withers and Etta Broom; and a host of other relatives and friends.
