Ms. Juanita Geneva Jeanetta "Aunt Neat" Thompson, 70 of Charlotte, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at University Place Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  She was born June 16, 1949 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Mr. Johnny Thompson and late Mrs. Hattie Harris-Thompson.

She departed this life on Monday, January 27, 2020 at University Place Nursing/Rehabilitation Center, Charlotte, North Carolina.

"Aunt Neat" was affectionately known, attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.  She was a supportive member of Greater Gethsemane A.M.E. Zion Church, serving faithfully on the Senior Usher Board, Pastor Stewart, Assistance Child Care worker, Custodian, Kitchen Aide, and a member of the Sunshine Corner Team.

Loving memories are cherished by her companion of 22 years Mr. William L. Ardrey Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mrs. Imogen Jordon, members of the Jordon, Ardrey and George family all of Charlotte, North Carolina, nieces, nephews and friends.
