June Vermelle McFadden, 64 of Charlotte, transitioned this life on Thursday, November 26, 2021.  She was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on October 23, 1957.

She attended and graduated from South Mecklenburg High School in 1976.  June worked as a bus driver for Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system for 15 years.  Later she worked for Carolinas Medical Center in the transportation department.  Where she became the manager and dedicated over 35 years of her life.

Throughout her life, June loved to travel, listen to music and spend time with the people who were most important in her life, her family.  Her favorite travel partners were her mom and best friend, Myra.  They took trips to New Jersey, Washington D.C., New Orleans and Aruba just to name a few.  When she wasn't on the road, was dedicated to spending time with her nieces and nephew.

She is perceived in death by her mother, Frances McFadden Smith; and brother Gerald McFadden.  June is survived by a brother, Clayton; 3 nieces, Ashley (of Greensboro), Megan (of Charlotte), and Monya (of Charlotte); a nephew, Edwin (of Charlotte); and a host of great nieces, great nephew's, cousins, family and friends.
