Justin DeCarlo Evans was born on November 2, 1980, in Charlotte, NC. He departed his earthly life suddenly on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Atrium Mercy Hospital. He was the son of Evangeline Evans Agurs and the late Jimmy Wilson.

Justin attended Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC and was employed in the hospitality industry. He enjoyed his family and friends deeply and was a loving and devoted father. Justin affectionately called J Roc, was known for being the life of the party. He had his own unique way of making everyone laugh despite what was happening around them. Justin had a heart of gold and would go the extra mile to make someone else's day. There was never a dull moment in his presence. Justin's hobbies included spending time with his family, traveling, gaming, trying new foods, music, and animals just to name a few.

Justin's precious memories will be cherished by his loving mother Evangeline Evans Agurs , grandmother Mrs. Eva Lee Evans, his beautiful daughters Kynadi and Kaisean, sister Charita Davis, Great aunts Maggie Pugh and Mary Stanton, Uncles Steve Evans and Henry Evans, God brothers Junior Cornell and Rodney Barnes , Friend Freddie Massey, Loving partner Sahkina Garrison, bonus children Annalyse and Malik and a host of relatives and friends whom all love and will miss him dearly.
