Kamari D. Ivery-Williams, 25 of Charlotte passed away on Friday February 12, 2021 in Baltimore. Kamari was born on February 2, 1996 to Tanya Williams and Charles Ivery in Boston, MA. He was the middle child of three children. He was a fierce protector of those he loved and would do
whatever he could to make sure his loved ones had what they needed. He was tender-hearted and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. Kamari had a magnetic personality with a great sense of humor. If you had the pleasure of knowing him, I'm sure you have fond memories of him. He was always laughing, joking and flashing those beautiful teeth; he could light up a room with his smile.
Kamari had been living in Baltimore for the past 2 ½ years working to turn his life around. He worked as an audio engineer in the studio and was a talented upcoming music artist. Aside from his music, Kamari loved basketball and battling his little brother on the Xbox or Playstation.
He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother Annie Goffigan, his paternal grandmother Julia Ivery and his uncle Ronnie Gilmore.
Kamari is survived by his mother, Tanya Williams, father, Charles Ivery, his sister Kamika Williams, his brother Micheal Joseph. He leaves behind his grandfathers, Sandy Lee and William Glass, grandmother Ruth Lee and he leaves behind several uncles, Rashad Lee, Lawrence Gilmore, James Glass (Catfish), William Glass, Jr. (Moose), his aunt Rasheedah Lee. His first cousins: Cataysha Lee and Maya Lee. Kamari has a ton of extended family that is left behind including his "brother from another mother" and best friend, Marquis, his "nana" Deborah Gardner, godfather and uncle Matthew Gardner, Aunts: Tyshina Harris, Amissa Gardner, Rakeea Gardner, Dawn Rei, and many cousins as well as his goddaughter Ebony Gardner. There are simply too many people to name as he was loved by many.
My sincere thank you to all of you who donated and reached out to offer condolences. May God bless you all!
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
